Default Loud clicking noise in the rear

My car just started developing a clicking noise in the rear and it's getting progressively worse.

While driving; accel and decel from 0-20mph and it seems as though the right rear wheel is dragging, like a muffled groaning sound. The after about 20mph it goes away and turns into a clicking noise. And at 70-80mph cruising speed, it's a constant clicking noise and I can feel the harmonics through the ebrake handle. I can put my hand on the ebrake handle and I can literally get a palm massage.

When I deccelerate, and get below 20mph, it feels as though my right rear tire is on flat, but it isn't. I'm not getting any vibration in the steering wheel or at speed. Just groaning and clicking. Also when I turn left or right or reverse, it does not click or groan.

From outside, I can't hear any clicking, but from the inside, I can hear clicking. What could this be?? CV joint or rear wheel bearing?

Have you eye balled under the rear of the car?

Look to make certain the emergency cable has not come loose from it's lug
and is not hitting on the spoke of the wheel or the cv axle, or anything else.

The ebrake cable is connected...Yes, i've gotten under the car and everything is tight.

I wonder if removing the axle nut and spraying lithium grease inside will work.

I would think that you would be best..... but more labor involved to clean the rust off the axle spline & the insides of the mating part first & then use the lubricant.
