Zo6 Wheels, will stock size tires fit correctly.
I have a set of polished Zo6 wheels on my coupe. Love the look of the wheel but not the small side wall of the Zo6 OEM size tires. Can I put the stock OEM tires on these wheels? I'm looking for a bigger or higher side wall.

C5 Z06 Wheel/Tire Size:
Front: 17x9.5 wheel, 265/40/17 tire
Rear: 18x10.5 wheel, 295/35/18 tire
C5 Coupe Wheel/Tire Size:
Front: 17x9.5 wheel, 245/45/17 tire
Rear: 18x8.5 wheel, 275/40/18 tire
So to answer your question.. you can get the tires of a standard C5 wheel to fit on a Z06 whel, but the side wall will be arched in, so it will have similar, lower profile appearance to what you already have. I have the smaller tires on the bigger rims, and its fine, but it does cause them to wear a little differently than they should.
Front: 17x9.5 wheel, 265/40/17 tire
Rear: 18x10.5 wheel, 295/35/18 tire
C5 Coupe Wheel/Tire Size:
Front: 17x9.5 wheel, 245/45/17 tire
Rear: 18x8.5 wheel, 275/40/18 tire

I love the polished Z06 wheels. I wish mine were.
Another good combination is to run:
Front 255/45/17 26.1" O/D
Rear 285/40/18 27" O/D
These sizes fit on either the base C5 wheels or the Z06 size wheels. I like them. I have this setup on Z06 wheels on my '99. These sizes are closer to the base C5 stock diameters than the Z06 sizes too, so it keeps the speedometer closer. (60.7 mph actual shows 60 mph on the speedometer). The stock Z06 sizes (265/40/17 and 295/35/18) are smaller diameter. (58.8 mph actual shows 60 mph on the speedometer) The 255 and 285 sizes keep the front to back diameter stagger good so the active handling/traction control systems are happy.
