Default Which key do i need?

I need a spare key for my 98 coupe and found some at ecklers but they have alot of different ones...how do i find out which one i need?
They are numbered like this....

Corvette Ignition Key, VATS Code 6, 1997-2004 Part # 35055-6
Corvette Ignition Key, VATS Code 2, 1997-2004 Part # 35055-2
Corvette Ignition Key, VATS Code 9, 1997-2004 Part # 35055-9
Corvette Ignition Key, VATS Code 8, 1997-2004 Part # 35055-8
Corvette Ignition Key, VATS Code 4, 1997-2004 Part # 35055-4
Corvette Ignition Key, VATS Code 12, 1997-2004 Part # 35055-12

there are 15 different keys...

if you have a GM dealer near by just walk in. they will test your old key and cut your new key for you for $29

I measured my old key's resistance, ordered one from ebay for $4 and Lowe's cut it for free.

That's the route I took as well $30 for a freakin key from the stealership-geez!
