Turned the car on this morning, the idle was high, and check engine came on, as well as a messaged that said traction system error, reduced engine power!? I just dumped the codes, turned the car back on, and it ran fine, idle was fine. Car jusr freaking out I thought :D The car kept running fine from that point on, but got the check engine light two more times throughout the day. This last time I went to record what its about when I got home.

Here is what I got, and what it said when I looked them up:

10 PCM 2 CODES (Power Train Control Module)

P0113 H C (Intake Air Temp Sensor Curcuit High Voltage-B)
P1111 H C (Intake Air temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage -C)

BO-RFA 2 CODES (These where just the TPM sensors as I had drag radials on so when my street setup is back on, this goes away.)

So what is this IAT sensor? What should I do, the dealer will just charge me to find the same info as apove, plus I don't really trust them.

Hi there,
You will need to replace your intake air temperature sensor connector.
The sometimes loose tension on the terminal contacts.

Where can I get this and for how much? My dealer is near stupid. They will try to sell me the entire sensor (no idea how costly it is either), how can I just get this connector on its own?

Hi htere,
Your connector you can get separate, for about $26.
The sensor is only about $15.
Just get the connector, please, and you will take care of the issue.

Sounds great, do I have to splice it in? Is this the plug that goes into the air filter?

I've had the same codes and a poor idle. I checked the sensor itself and that was OK. Off to pick up a connector Monday!

I have to splice it in? They have the connector in stock, and the sensor you have to order, so I will pick one up ASAP. This may even make the car run better :D

OK, its $20, a little black connector on two long wires!? That's it? I have it in hand, about to splice it in, but don't see where it goes? Is the IAT Sensor on the top end of the plastic air bridge? If so, this new connector doesn't have the part that snaps on or the rubber grommet or anything.

This is why I don't like my dealer, ughh, looks like I need my money back in the morning!?

The sensor is in the air bridge, located after the MAF sensor, and before the throttle body.
Just remember, that the wiring can go either way, as there is no wrong way to wire in the sensor.
Use the heatshrink connectors, and heat them after the crimp.

:mad I got the wrong plug I'm sure, though I told them 10 times. This does not connect to the IAT Sensor when I disconnect the stock part, which looks fine. This is getting annoying. Going to check with autozone, they carry the sensor, so should have the plug.

Going to do both the sensor and plug just in case. The stock plug looks fine and I bent the connectors to make it a tighter fit, and the codes still came back :( I hope doing both ends my frustration, and that the dealer can give me the right part!!
