Default Need help with fender flares. RIMS needed.

Hi Guys I am currently finishing up a set of 2" fender flares on my 1998 c5. I need a set of rims to fit the car now. I know I can probably buy a set of newer Z06 rims and run a small spacer. But I want to find a set all ready made for the car. What I was wondering is does anyone know the offset needed on a 19X12 in wide rim? Also I cant afford CCW rims right now so $3000 for a set of wheel is a no go. How ever there are plenty of rims on the market with a good offset I just need the numbers to find a wheel.

I got you I did it backwards. They make rims for example a 19x8.5 with a 30mm offset that I can have widened to 12 inches wide locally. Does that sound correct? Sorry for the questions I need to learn how to do this somewhere.

Also I found a set of new grandsport rims. If I wanted to run those I could use a 3/4 to 1" spacer? And run 1" longer studs? And will I have to modify the front of my c5 in any way to run the front rims?

Here's a good calculator.

http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

You'd have to widen both inside and outside the same amount to maintain the offset. You proposed wheel size widened to the inside only would become 76mm offset.

There are cheaper aftermarket C6Z fitment wheels with the same style also available in C6 or C5 sizes. So, you should be able to find a matched set of C6Z fitment wheels for the back and C5 fitment wheels for the front.

Default Tire and Wheel Calculator

I thought this calculator was pretty slick.
