Default fitting to keep valves open?

Where do I find/buy the fitting to screw into the heads once the spark plugs are removed that allows me to connect my air line to it keeping the valves closed to change valve springs with the heads on the car? I've been to every auto parts store in my town (O'Reilly, ABC, Autozone, etc.) and they look at me funny and have no idea what I'm talking about.

I don't need it today but will in a week or so ... I can order it online if someone points me where to find it.

Thanks.

Scott

Probably a typo, but just in case.
You are filling the cylinder with air to keep the valves closed, not open.

Yes, thank you. Typed too quickly. (Fixed post)

Thanks guys! Funny thing ... when I called the Summit Pro Shop to order my tires earlier this week I asked for said part and they couldn't find it.

I appreciate the help.

You can probably rent one from autozone and if you have a compression tester all you have to do is take the schrader valve out of the end.
