Default Anything to be gained by gravity bleeding clutch mc overnite?

Wanting to make sure my clutch not disengaging fully is not an air issue, I have bled my newly installed Tick mc two reservoirs cycles with normal bleeding procedures. My remote bleeder is on top of the motor. If I release the bleeder screw but don't depress clutch pedal, will any air trapped work its way out? Or should I let bleeder line hang and let fluid drip out? Or is either a waste of time?
