Default Airbox differences?

Did they change the airbox somwhere between 98 and 03? I busted the POS plastic tab off one latch-so bought an airbox off the interweb from a car being parted out and it is not the same part. It looks to have a significantly smaller rubber connector to the MAF...

2001 introduced an 85mm MAF vs the 74mm MAF on earlier years. So yes plumbing on the later model air box would be different.
