Default roof panel squeaks

my roof panel sometimes squeaks on my 1997. I bought it with the intention of never taking the roof off, so what is the best lube to put on the rubber seals to keep them from squeaking, prevent leaks, and preserving the rubber?

If the rubber is dry, try a very light film of dielectric grease. Any parts store has it. Apply and rub in very well. Don't put too much on the rubber. An amount the size of a quarter should be enough.
