C5 elec cooling fans info ?
Was wondering about the electric cooling fans, as to what coolant temperature they come on ? I normally don't pay attention to the coolant temps, but I noticed that the coolant temperature was at 227
degrees the other day and the fans were not kicking in yet ? Isn't that right about where they are supposed to come on ? Was wondering if they were operating as they should ? I realise these cars run hot for emissions.No problems or over heating.But was just curious to know at what point the fans are supposed to come on ? So that I know the fans are working properly. THANKS

Thanks for the info.That basically explains the fan operation in detail including the diagram.
