Default Pfadt Racing z06 Build

Had a customer ask us to build up (rather, fix a previous hack job) his c5 track car. He had several complaints about handling, braking, over heating, and several other issues. I wish I would have thought to take more pictures prior to today as we are halfway done with it, but still lots of cool things to see and more to come!

Before pics I took....crappy crappy exhaust work:

New Pipes Being made (C5 Tri-Y's) are coming to everyone real soon! )

The Cage: The previous one was terrible, and was only partially welded. We cut the top off and added support to the cage where needed. We also fixed up the welds:

Cooling: Relocated coolers which will get a custom shroud and scoops:

Aero: Planning on a lot here. Ditching the FRC, building diffusers, and making a custom hood/fender combo up front to fit the 345's we are planning on running on all 4 corners.

Coming up next: Suspension and Brakes....stay tuned:

Am I the only one that fantasizes that it's my car in the picture having this work done?

awesome!! How do you plan on closing off the bell housing from the front since the dry sump oil pan leaves a bunch of open space now? any structural issues with not supporting the bottom of the inspection cover?

Sorry...been really busy guys. I have a quick write-up and pics of the finished car here:

http://c5rcorvette.blogspot.com/2013...l#comment-form

The car turned out amazing though.... We were running lap times faster than the class ahead of us...even with 100HP less. Needless to say we were being "randomly selected" to run on the dyno several times over the weekend
