Default P1870 transmission code

Hey guys, I have a 2003 C5 that has a P1870 code. It has a factory automatic Trasmisison and I have replaced the Torque converter and the Valve body at my local chevy dealership with no luck. They tell me that the rear diffential has been changed from the stock 2.73 to a 3.42 and thats the issue. Any thoughts you might have? This is driving me crazy!!!!!

The code simply needs to be shut off, I can handle that with our $149 mail in tune special, same day turn around.

It still has a hard up shift in 2nd after it gets hot. SO is it a trans problem or is it a issue of the wrong ratio becuase of the lower geared differintial?

See post #2. Any tuner can do this for you. If the diff was swapped to 3.42 there are other things that need to be changed like shift points, line pressure, how the torque converter works, ect. The dealer may have flashed a stock tune in the car when they did some of the work you mentioned. A performance shop or vette specialist would know this.
