Default LPE fuel pump sound. Normal?

I have an LPE setup in my car with racetronix harness. At idle you can hear the pump, is that normal? It doesn't have a high pitched noise like when a pump is dying, but it sounds more like a whirring or the sound of water flowing, is that normal? It basically makes the same noise as when you key on prime it, but all the time. I don't notice it over my exhaust when driving, but you can hear it at a stop. It also changes pitch if I drop the voltage on my alternator by holding the window button in the up position.

All the higher volume pumps seems to make that noise, i personally like it because i know the pump works. Seems normal to me!
