Default HID bulbs

Found out the issue I was having with my wife's HID bulbs not going in properly, was the tabs on the "auction site" bulbs I got were TINY compared to the ones that came out. Bulb would never tighten.
Question; Who sells some good quality HID (9006) bulbs for a decent price?
I don't mine paying for quality, but seems odd to see some bulbs for $13 (2) and others for $40.

I take it you're putting HIDs into a halogen reflector housing?

If you have a HID conversion kit make sure to get 4300K output bulbs (OE for all manuf.) it is the brightest output of light in a HID kit.

I personally like the 5000; they are pure white. I actually have them in 4 different vehicles.

Thread revival!

Looking to purchase a set of DDM Tuning 35W HID kits for low beams on my 04 C5. I've read that polarity of some plug needs to be reversed for some company kits, and some need a harness with their install and others don't. Can you guys chime in and let me know what I need/don't need for this kit to work properly?

[rant]I've used DDM kits on multiple cars and bikes in the past circa '07 til now, never had an issue. Except one time, they shipped two different color bulbs. That was annoying.[/rant]

Cheers!

I have ddm and it was just plug and play. I do have to turn my bights on when the car is off for the headlights to go down. Not sure who makes a resistor for that but it doesn't really bug me
