Trim height spec's, ride height
2000 FRC z51, my J height front is 4 1/8" and k height rear is 4 1/4". I bought the car used and I think it has been lowered. I would like to know what the height of original owners 2000 FRC is. Car rides hard and handle great.

Melting Slicks
The correct ride heights per the manual are about 6 and 6.25 inches IIRC, so yes your car is probably lowered all the way on stock bolts. Put it up about an inch on each corner as a minimum and your ride will be a lot better.

J - 5.98" (152 mm)
K - 6.18" (157 mm)
Z - 1.73" (44 mm)
D - 4.25" (108 mm)
The above numbers are for a 1999 but I think they are the same for a 2000.
If you want/need any more details regarding these measurements, PM me your email address.

Thank you for your response, I have a manual with the spec,s. I'm not sure the spec's are the same as a Coupe versus FRC. I was hoping a original owner of a FRC would measure their car.

Does your manual state that it is only for the a FRC?
An "original" FRC (non-lowered) would be as specified in the manual, plus or minus the specified tolerance (min and max documented in the FSM). I would have specifically asked for an FRC owner to measure theirs for comparison...just saying...
What are you really looking to learn with this endeavor? Just what the ride height is?...or a subjective comparison of handling of your FRC versus an "original" FRC?
