Default c5 1 in. narrowed a-arms

I have a fried who is a well know chassis builder and he was thinking of offering chromoly A-ARMS for a c5 vette. They will narrow the front track by one inch to make the front runners fit up under the fender. Price would be around $750.00 as they would not be mass produced and would be lightweight moly. What do you guys think.

Why???

If you can run the rear wheels of C5Z on the front and they don't rub, why do you want or need to narrow the front track???

Just trying to understand why you would want to mess up the geometry to do that.

Sounds like a dedicated drag racing setup to me. "Front runners" usually means skinny tires.
