C5 Coupe with 18 and 19 Wheels = Tire Sizes?
Just got original C6 Wheels.
18 X 8.5 J56 (56mm Offset = 6.95" Backspace)
19 X 10 J79 (79mm Offset = 8.61" Backspace)
Currently have "Wagon Wheels" ( 17" and 18" )
Curious (more like desperate) to know ideas for low profile tires for this baby-doll of mine.

265/35/18 in the front and 295/35/19 in the rear. The rears are a full inch taller than stock, I like that they fill the wheel well better. I have 4.10's though.

265-35-18 front and 305-30-19 rear on a Tsw Nurburgring here. No issues with anything.
Wheels are 9 inch wide front and 10.5 rear.

So these are Factory Original wheels, the size listed in the original posting.
After MUCH reading here in the forums, I've decided to go with "Run Flats".
Looking for much needed guidance here guys.
The more I read, the more I realize I don't know. YIKES!!!

Front wheels will fit fine, but the back wheels will need either 1/4" spacers or 1/2" adapters for the wheels to fit flush. Or extended rear studs with 1/2" spacer.

I used 1/4" spacers I got from my local Speed/Auto shop. It was the easy way to do it. I do think it would look better to do the extended studs(ARP's) and 1/2" spacer, but I was told that replacing the rear studs is a PIA.
I'm not sure where you could get the extended studs.

What type of tires are you running on those rims.. I also have TSW Nurburgring 18/19 setup on my C6 and I'm shopping for slightly wider than stock tires.. not that many options.. Thanks!

I intend to drive this up and down the East Coast a couple of times this coming summer, so I'm going with "RUN FLAT" tires.
Talk about Limited Selection.
Looks like I may go with OE tires
GoodYear Eagle F1 SuperCar EMT
Unless someone here has another idea.

Run flats aren't known to be that great and are also expensive. I would look into some Hankooks or similar.

If you are going to run with Runflats (which I do now) I will highly recommend the Michelin PS A/S Plus ZP. I know it's an all season, but these are great tires. Sizes... that's another story. Only stock OEM sizes available or go to a 19/20 package. If you are running on OEM (sized) wheels, the Mich are awesome...
To run on my TSW rims, I'm looking for something that's a slightly wider tire and maintains the required stagger. It seems all I can find is lower profile (smaller diameter) which I'm not crazy about with the road conditions in the NE... It is pothole mania up here and I don't see it all getting fixed this spring.
So, I'm looking for 255 or 265x18 and 295 or 305x19 to fill out my 9"W and 10.5"W TSW wheels.. once again, selections very limited. Nitto has something, but lower side profiles. Hancook has something but same story. Anybody have anything else to suggest?

The only other option would be 295/35/19 (27.1") & 275/35/18 (25.7"). It would be nice if there was a 315/30/19 tire size.

Russ, my coupe is a C-5.
Moving up from 17 and 18 to 18 and 19 wheels.
Old wheels are the 'original Wagon Wheels'
New Wheels are C-6 18 and 19 inch wheels.
I'm going to go with RUN FLAT tires because I have some "LONG HAUL" trips coming up this summer...
Two Marine Reunions, one in N.C. and one in S.C.
So it looks like I'm going to have to 'adjust' the speed sensor somehow to translate what appear to be taller tires than the originals.
However that can be accomplished.
