If you really want to run a 325 tire run a wheel wider than 10". I would do at least a 12-13'' wide wheel. Hope this helps.

I put 305/30/19 Michelin PS2 on a 19x10 and ended up taking them off. It had about at least 1/4 bulge/overage on the inside and outside of the wheel lip. It drove okay in a straight line, but if you hit uneven pavement or change lanes with ruts in the road, your car will feel like it wants dart too much. I went to 285/35/19 Michelin PS2 without touching the alignment and the car drives better on the road on the uneven pavement and rut situations. I believe I had too much sidewall slop with the oversized tires for that 10" wide wheel.

i did a 305 30 19 pilot super sport on a 10.5" wheel and took them off and traded them for a 295 30 19 before i left the tire shop
if you have 10" wheels i would use 285, if you have 10.5" i would use 295
305 at least in the pss needs to be on 11-12"
325 needs to be on 12"

they do but some tires are a bit different. you may find some that fit on a minimum spec rim alright. others, like the wider pss really don't look right on min width spec
the 305 comes to mind. min spec is 10.5" but, if you put it on a 10.5" you'll have about 1/4" of overhang with the pss specifically
it's much better on an 11" and better still on 11.5" even though, if i remember right it specs 10.5" to 12"
the 265 ranges from 9 to 10.5 but it fits pretty square on a 9 {min spec} or 9.5, would be stretched on a 10.5

Tried it and doesn't work well, I've also squeezed a 315/30r18 on a 9.5"...don't recommend either, hope that helps.

Was looking at a set of 18 x 9.5" & 19 x 11" c6 zo6 style wheels for my c5. Will the 325-30-19 work on these wheels? Was also looking at a 275-35-18 for front wheel. Nitto invos fyi.

If you go to the Nitto site and look up the INVO line of tires you will find specs for the tires including the range of approved wheel widths each given tire is approved for:
http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/Street/invo#size
The Invo 325/30-19 is approved for widths 11.0 - 12.0.
The Invo 275/35-18 is approved for widths 9.0 - 11.0.
Similar info on tire specs is available on Tire Rack for each of the brands of tires they sell.

That's what I've been on for about 3 years. 325-30/19s on 11" rims, and 65mm backspace. They are pretty narrow for their size designation, but unless you're on more than stock power, they do the job, for a good price. But I wouldn't buy them again.

Besides the shoulders of the tire not being in contact with the ground, it would be tough to mount that wide of a tire on a to narrow rim without destroying the bead in the process.
