So I did a search for this and came up with Fichtner Chevrolet. Supposedly they carried the kit to put the switch in a pre 2000 car. I e mailed them and they unfortunately sold the last ones they could scrounge up a couple years ago.....I'd really like my 3 year old son to be able to go for a cruise with me to local shows ect.

Anyone know how to do this now?

Looks like they have the switch but none of the supporting parts to install it...

I can't imagine it would be that much stuff, it probably works like a switch to remove power from it, but I'm just taking a guess, probably pretty simple to wire up.

the switch is avail from everyone, and last time i checked the wire itself can be bought from GM still. I really need to do this instead of pulling the fuse every time he rides in the car.

I've seen where people yank the fuse. I also think you should change the belts too. To do it right anyways...
