Default ABS and TCS lights on. help plz

first time vette owner. got a 98 targa top 6 spd. when i start it the TCS and ABS lights are on. i have a service vehicle soon and service ride control message that come up.. i tried pulling the codes using the DIC with holding otions and pressing fuel four times fast with no luck of it doing anything. i pulled out my matco code reader and the only one im getting is p0113 air temp sensor. ive done some reading and checked the tightness of the abs harnesses. i didnt see anything wrong.. everything seems ok. the other thing i read was one of or a conbination of wheel hubs is bad. when i go through the DIC i also cant get a tire pressure reading. any help or insight as to where to start would be nice. My car is ridiciously lowered and i have to get to a lift to do anything under it. any idea where to start would help tremendously. thanks

can a dealer run a diagnostic and tell me whats going on? is it worth the cost?

Here is what you need to do-
Entering On-Board Diagnostics
To enter the Diagnostic Display function perform the following steps:
1. Turn ON the ignition switch, with the engine OFF.
2. Press the RESET button to acknowledge any warning messages present.
3. Press the OPTIONS button on the Driver Information Center (DIC) and hold.
4. While holding the OPTIONS button press the FUEL button 4 times within a 5 second period.
5. System will first enter automatic display mode followed by the manual display mode.

Grounds MAY be a part of your problems but you need to start with fresh codes not something left from god knows when......

If you want to start researching grounds here are a couple of ground specific threads including one with pictures to help locate the ground locations on the C5:

Second link is a repeat of the one provided by Smoken1

My bad>>>>>> I just read the end of your thread after you cleared the codes.
lol its all good.. going from 35 codes to 8 was awesome in my book.. and 6 of those being hvac related from what i read on a code thread. im looking at tcs no com. as to being the problem with the tcs and abs lights being on. going to check and clean all the grounds i can get to mainly the three in the engine bay that i seen in a video. if that doesnt fix it. ill move to the next step

ok so.... all realted fuses have been checked. ground points 101,102,104,and 108 and been checked cleaned and reattached. i also checked the ebcm connector. all wires are intact. pins look good and connected tightly..i noticed the folding clamp that secures this connector was up before i removed the connector... i reattached the connector after inspection and securely clamped back to the ebcm... along with the singular ground wire associated with harness. what would be my next step in my process of elimination?

I had similiar No Comm issues in my 98 last year and it was related to corroded contacts in the ignition module that the key/tumbler is mounted in...in the dash. I replace the ignition module with a brand new instead of attempting a repair, and all my problems disappeared asap when I started the car. No more abs/tcs lights, my RTD and HVACV worked again. I got the part from my local Auto Zone store for about $90, and took about 3 hours to r/r it since I'd never taken the console and part of the dash apart before. Now, I could do it in an hour easy. Bill Curlee has a great thread here on the CF about all this stuff.
He just replied to it today so you should find it here quickly.

Good luck

I had a similar issue. Turns out the wheel position sensor wire had broken/snapped/something. My shop fixed the wire and it's all good now.

i did get a wheel position code when i pulled them. im wondering if thats also why i cant reset my tpms. im still searching grounds and cleaning them as i have time. im going to pull the abs connector off again and clean all those contact with a tiny file.. just to ensure good contact. I havent checked the passenger floorboard yet but im going to. i did stick my hand in there and didnt feel anything but i want to do a visual inspection as well.. just need the time..
