Default just buy some Loctite, you cheap... dumb-dumb

PSA for today:
when you're doing brake work that requires unbolting the calipers & later realize you're out of Loctite, don't be a lazy cheap stupid-head and just shrug it off saying, "eh... it'll hold just fine, and besides, it's too cold to drag this job out." sure as i'm posting, you'll be excited for the first really nice day in 7 months you can take the car for a nice spirited run through the mountains, and when you do, you'll find yourself about 20 miles in and getting this terrible pulsating grinding sound.

Happy Easter!!

FWIW, I've never used loctite. Never had a problem and I'm usually changing rotors a couple times a year. (Knocking on wood.) I even reused the original bolts.

Loctite for what? I always use anti-seize.

What am I missing here?

I do. When it comes to brakes I don't take chances.
