Default SDPC vs Texas Speed 383 shortblock

I am about to purchase a 383 shortblock. May I hear your firsthand experience with either of these?

Thanks.

Bought my 416 short from scoggin. It's been 6 years of absolute abuse. She purrs like a kitten still. They helped spec my cam, I even ordered the wrong head gaskets and they sent me 110$ ones for free because I did business with them. I was very happy

I'd rather deal with SDPC, having used both for components.

ERL charges some pretty hefty core charges, whereas TSP or SDPC do not.

they do

but their machine work and assembly are excellent.

few local guys have used their engines with great success.

truck freight to ship a core is 200-400 dollars via fed ex freight

just throwing it out there. i've been a scoggin dicky fan for 10+ years. great great dealership
