That's why I believe ALL cams roller or flat tappet need higher levels of zddp than what most motor oils have today. Then again the EPA doesn't care if your engine lasts 100K miles just that your catalytic converters do.

That Fast and Loud program didn't use break in oil on a Rustang they were redoing, ate the cam in SHORT ORDER.

I don't think the best oil on the planet would have saved this cam.

Not sure how old the cam is, but back around 2009 there was a lot of bad cam cores going around.
