Glass top starting to peel...
My glass top is starting to peel. I don't see anyway to fix it. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anyway to stop it? I really would hate to have to buy a new top :cry

I am having the same problem. Nothing to fix it as far as I know, exept replacing the Lexan. IMO $500 is too much just for the lexan.
You are better off checking for used one. I have seen some go for $400 to $700.

WOW this really bother's me. All C4's shared this problem and I read where the new C5 top wouldn't have this problem.
If true that sucks!

Common problem,I have seen 2 within the past week and many in the past.Always appears to be on the right side,so you can credit it to a manufacturing defect :yesnod:

C-5 Tech is right on the money, only mine peeled on the driver's side. This was a problem on '97, 98, and early '99 Vettes. I had mine replaced under warranty.
