FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR
The Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor measures the difference between the pressure or vacuum in the fuel tank and the outside air pressure. The FTP sensor mounts in the top of the fuel tank-sending unit. The PCM provides a 5-volt reference and a ground to the FTP sensor. The FTP sensor provides a signal voltage back to the PCM that can vary between 0.1 and 4.9 volts . As fuel tank pressure increases, FTP sensor voltage decreases. As fuel tank pressure decreases, FTP voltage increases.
Sorry I can't provide a good pic

Just read your post on onemandeep' thread. The fuel tank pressure sensor is only there for evap diagnostics.
I have read some of your other posts and I am sure you will get your fuel pressure problem resolved.

You are my freaking hero. I didn't know it was on the passenger side tank.
Removal
Remove the right rear wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body
Rear End.
2. Remove the EVAP canister access cover.
3. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor by carefully prying the sensor out of the fuel tank with
a screwdriver.
Install
1. Lubricate the fuel tank pressure sensor rubber grommet with clean engine oil in order to aid
in installation.
2. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor into the top of the fuel tank.
3. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the EVAP canister access cover.
5. Install the right rear wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body
Rear End.

Glad to help. I have all the info for all the years from DVDs loaded on my computer. It is easy to provide PDFs of anything since that is what they are in the program. Using Dropbox allows me to link them since the Forum will not take PDFs directly.
What did you convert the PDF to in order to post it here?
If you ever need anything let me know.
PS: I had just glanced at the drawing and assumed it was on the left side. Thanks for the response, I probably will not forget.

I had to copy the pic then send it email then save it to my HD then posted it here. The text I just copied but getting that pic was a pain in the ***..I just googled how to do it.. Again thanks so much time to tear into it

Thanks. I can covert PDFs directly to jpeg and post but by staying in PDF it makes viewing schematics much easier since they almost all need to be enlarged to view.
I could have converted what I send you to jpeg but it is just easier to use the Dropbox.
