race mesh grille inserts install
got to put these in today. the brake duct and side vent grille mesh inserts i bought from CCA Corvette Parts
lift car. from under car, remove the brake duct access panels.
left and right side remove the five screws with a 9/32 socket.
left panel
right panel
next is to pull back on the brake ducts. work the grille inserts into the front of the ducts. this works easier from the outside. use one hand to hold the brake duct from under.
left side
right side
apply the supplied clear silicone to the mesh on the front side to adhere it to the bumper. push the brake duct into place making sure the mesh grille is touching the bumper. reinstall the access panels. lower car.

side vent install
lift car and remove the front tires. next, remove the access panels on the rearward side of the fenderwells with a 9/32" socket.
left side
right side
under the car will be three screws located here:
next is to remove the vent panel you can see through the holes by removing these two screws with a 9/32" socket
this is the fun part. smear the clear silicone around the opening of the vent from the inside. hold the mesh in place and smear more on the mesh and inner part of the vent hole from the backside. find something to hold the vent in place. i wedged a metal tube i had on the mesh to the fender. you can see it on the pics below. if not, you'll be holding it there for at least 15-20 minutes. takes some patience here.
left side inside fender
right side inside fender
once done, reinstall the vent plastic and access panels. reinstall tires and lower car.
looks like this. ENJOY!!
