Default Do I have a K&N air filter here ?

Just bought a C5, I think this is a K&N air filter but I just wanted to make sure before I cleaned it, sprayed oil, and shove it back in, LOL:

My K&N is red. I have never seen a K&N that was not red. But what do I know?

That is not K&N. I wouldn't oil it until you find out what type of filter it is. It may be a dry media type filter. Don't know.

Could be wrong but I thought most of the cotton filters were white, the oil is what gives them color. The 4 or 5 K&N filters I have had over the years were all white after a good cleaning before oiling.

Sbfilters.com used to be blue. They were making them for k/n back in the day. K/n are white and the oil is what makes it red
