Default 02 in LosAngeles / service column lock / service active handling =(

within a week of purchase i wos stranded
motor pulley grinding against racknpinion
towed to the local shop
$440 cause has to remove steering
****** pulley broke
replaced with same ****** pulley wtf

now it takes 20 mins to get this thing started
"remove key wait 10 seconds"
"service column lock"
"service active handling"
"service vehicle"

everyeone told me to get a hybrid
this one girl said i cud have got a new honda for the same price as this c5
dont buy an american car watever u do dont buy an american car my coworkers said

if i drive anyway, the fuel shuts off
the steering wheel doesnt lock
even with the key removed hehe

02 C5 M6

is it true we have leaf springs like a truck ?
and gigliotti wants 2.4k$ deng

okay i read threads for more than three days
now i am wondering if i install a column lock bypass module will the fuel still shut off ?
i want to prevent this fuel shutoff

then there is this active handling issue to worry about

but if these are quick and not so difficult fixes i think i got me a nice fixerupper ?

Clear all your codes take it for a ride. Before you shut the car off pull the codes again.
Or did you already??

I bought a 99 with 50,000 miles on it ,I had to install the LMC5 the second day I had the car 45.00 and 20 min. of work no problem since. I have no rattles or any other noise drives fantastic,I get a charge out of the GM haters, 15 yr. old car very little to complain about and 29 mpg highway,I could go on all day. Buy a used BMW or Audi and see what it costs for repairs ?????

seat didn't recline back far enough for comfortable sleep

I should return it for that reason alone

called a friend to come get me , she brought cables

she connected our black posts and then our reds , then started her car

she told me to start mine but nothing at all happened

maybe if i wasnt ****ing around taking the key in and out and waiting ten sseconds 42 times in a row four times a day day after day this wouldn't have happened ? maybe the test at AutoZone didn't help either

so difficult to think straight wen so upset

I'm thinking I buy the LCM-5 tonite

and will buying a battery tomorrow start the car ?

8vette he may be like I was and didn't know the key had a pellet that i think is a anti-theft feature and if the switch is bad it will not read the pellet and therefore car will not start, do I have this correct. The pellet is the thing on the side of the key that most vehicles don't have, correct? Thanks man for all your insight into these complicted vehicles.
