Accessory power outlet in console of 2003 C5
If I leave an accessory plugged in to the console accessory power outlet, which is live, and physically turn off the accessory with its own power on off switch will I still drain the battery?

Not if it's really turned off. If it has any kind of monitor circuit or memory circuit, it could still draw a small amount. If you're going to try to remember to turn off the accessory every time, why not just unplug it? I really thought that outlet shut down after about 15 minutes via the battery save function, but can't say for sure.

I can check later when I get home to see if the accessory power is turned off after 15 minutes or not.
You never said what device you plan to use. Most newer devices like phones and iPods will continue to charge the battery even if they are turned off but those are not normally significant drains.

I have a tom-tom that stays plugged in 24/7 and week-ends (console) and the blue indicator light stays on Always. 01 bass
