Gold colored dust in oil after heads and cam install
So I just finished up a ls6 heads and cam install on my vette and have driven it for about 1500 miles. When I changed the oil i noticed a substantial amount of gold colored "dust" in the oil. There are no chunks or large metal particles that I can see. The car runs great with no abnormal noises and the oil pressure is good as well. Is this something that I should be concerned about or should I just change the oil and keep an eye on it?

If you have bearing damage, then likely the damage is already done. I think before opening the motor, I would run the current oil change another 1000-1500 miles then change again and assess the condition. Also, if you have the old filter you could cut it open.
What did you use for assembly lube on the cam, rockers, pushrods, etc.?
