crack in overflow, pressure tank, whatever its called.
The over flow, fluid reservoir, pressure tank whatever you want to call the radiator reservoir has a very small crack where the hose attaches to it. Its about 1/4 long and thinner then a finger nail.
However, it is an air leak and wont let the system build pressure.
I have tried jb plastic weld, and a two part plastic epoxy. Neither will bond to the abs plastic these are made out of.
Anyone know what will bond to it, or do I just have to buy a new one.
Hate to replace it for such a small crack.

There's a overflow relief on the fill neck, like the older radiators.
You can run a hose off that to rear of car in case your water system becomes pressurized (like lifting the heads) could save your butt from spinning out in your own water

impressive times.
I purchased:
Canton Racing Products 80-225 - Canton Racing Coolant Expansion and Recovery Tanks
Thanks, I am happier upgrading to that tank then I am paying $70 for another plastic one.
I like the idea of the relief. I am tired of the little leak spraying water all over my valve covers.

Figured that - reason I ask is I just bought one (on it's way) and was wondering if there was a max fill level to allow excess to flow in but not spill out the overflow at the neck. Guess it's more of a, "That looks about right."

If you wanta get fancy, run your steam lines to the tank, instead of the radiator.
That way trapped air can escape naturally because the line will be uphill instead of down hill.
