Which AN fittings for SS brake lines?
I'm gonna replace the OEM's with a set of stainless steel brake lines on my Z06. They come with banjo bolts and I wanna use AN fittings instead.
Does anyone know what the Russell part number is, or at least what the designation is for the AN fitting? I recall "-3" but I dunno if I should be looking at AN-to-NPT or something else.
Thank you!

Thank you; that's the Russell number for the ss brake lines themselves. I'm looking for the item number for the proper AN fittings.
I called Russell Performance and after 15 minutes on hold I got a rookie technician who said AN fittings aren't possible, and if they were, he didn't know how to look it up.

When you buy the lines, unscrew the banjo fitting from the line.
Now you have both thread sizes (line & caliber)
Check the banjo fitting, it could be AN 37* of standard 45* flare
Next problem is the banjo bolt threads are probably straight threads, not tapered NPT
Can't rely on thread sealer, brake fluid eats all
Good luck, I recommend staying with the oem banjo fitting design

Not possible? Yeah right...
I did -3 AN stainless brake lines on an F-Body, and I remember the threads in the caliper are M10x1.0. I am pretty sure the C5 calipers are the same, so you'll want M10x1.0 to -3 AN adapters on the calipers. I think the other side is bubble flare, but I'm not sure. Surely someone else has the correct info to do this, or does everybody just buy pre-made lines?

The banjo bolt uses straight metric threads and seals with a copper washer. So, you'll want to replace it with a -3 AN adapter fitting that does the same, including the copper washer.
