Great performance bang for the buck.
Thank you for your feedback!

Hello. I have an 02 that appears to have the later C5Z51 bars. I need new end links for sure as mine are visibly worn, and I am looking to tighten the handling up a bit. Would the C6Z51 bars be a big improvement, or would I be better off starting with the C6Z06 shocks? Thanks for any help and look forward to doing business with you.

After talking to a couple of friends, I decided that the shocks would be first. Order placed!

Thank you for the order. The C6 Z51 sway bars would be a better upgrade for your vehicle. The C6 Z51 sway bars are larger than C5 Z06 so I definitely feel as if you would notice the improvement in the handling.

I recently purchased a 99 coupe with 140k miles, the car will be used for HPDE days and general hooning. Ultimately coil overs will be the way to go but for now i want to get the car sorted and in use so i am considering this type of set up for the forseeable future.
My question : I would think shocks, anti roll bars, poly bushings, end links would be what i would be looking for . I didnt see pricing on the links or poly bushings. And would you recommend i do springs as well? C5z? or something else?
Thank you

We do not offer poly bushings as mentioned. The end links are $27.50 each and they are priced when you click on the link.

You may want to go with the C6 Z06 bars for your setup since you will be doing some track events and this will loosen the car up a bit more in the turns. You can get the price on those by typing in C6 Z06 bars on our website.

Good Morning, Gene.
I purchased and installed your package back in early 2014.
At that time I was in total AWE of the difference in the handling.
Mind you, my car desperately needed the shocks at that time.

But

Here we are, two years later, and I'm probably just "USED TO IT" by now, and wanting something a little "TIGHTER". ??? Understand?

Maybe it's just me, but I want FIRMER SHOCKS.

Whatcha got? (Oh, and notice you're STILL my go-to guy)

Got the C6 Z51 bars in record time. They look great and eager to install. Thanks for the great service to us boarders!

Do I have to grease the rubber bushings and if so with what type?

That is awesome to hear and pretty much the reaction when most people purchase and install the upgrade. Thank you for your business and the positive feedback and congrats on the upgrade!

Hi Gene , As you indicated in your post above: I need a C5 upgrade kit! I have read all these posts and you seem to be THE MAN. Also, I am local ( western philly suburbs )

I am a very new member here and finding out about shock upgrades for a C5 street car is exactly why i joined today.

here is my car info: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...niversary.html

Can you email me with a couple options for a shock/tbar /bushing upgrade for this car and application.

rauscher@wistar.org

Thanks Very much

Unless you're running 325 width or higher rear tires we recommend the C6 Z06 shocks and C6 Z51 sway bars. This is the best upgrade for the non-Z06 C5.
