abs delete on a 02
Ok let me start out by saying I will be running the holley efi dominator so the factory pcm will not be there. My question is, is it possible to delete the abs on this year car? I have seen a diy for fbody and the 99 and earlier but I read somewhere that it would be a problem because of the steering correction. Thanks

All you really need to do is pull the two fuses 5 and 52 from the engine fuse box to disable ABS. Nothing needs to be removed. You will get warning lights. Could remove the bulbs or just block the light with black tape.
Just know disabling ABS will also disable TC and AH.
Curious how you plan to monitor rpms, mph, oil pressure, coolant temps, and other engine parameters without a PCM.

Even with the fuse in it won't work because the pcm won't be there. So it is all dead weight and it will clean up my engine bay. Holley has a new electronic dash that I am going to mount in the car and I can set up with anyway I want. With this aftermarket computer I won't be able to use any of the tc ah or abs.

You can just remove the EBCM from the hydraulic block. Or go further and re-plumb the tubing to remove the block.
Curious what advantage the Holley setup has over buying a Tech II to reprogram/tune it.

I can control 24 injectors, self tunn in at part throttle, boost by gear, boost by time, your n20 or water/meth is calculated thru the computer, control individual timing or fuel by cylinder, I can control my second fuel pump based off my map sensor with it. I could go on. Oh also I got a killer deal on it.
I have seen the fbody diy that use the t to replum it. Will that work on a 02? I really don't want to redo the whole car.

The EBCM is the brake computer module. You can remove it and re-plumb the lines. Remember you should keep the front and rear brakes separate so loss of one does not fail both like could happen in the 60's and prior years.
Looked at the Holley website. Did not say anything about replacing the PCM and it does not show any replacement dash gauges except what you can put on a laptop and one singular Holley gauge. Are you sure how it is really integrated into the C5 serial bus?

This is what I am going to mount in place of the dash. Everything will go thru this and the dominator. Even fuel level.

I guess their link to support items could be better or I just could not find it. I am really surprised the PCM is eliminated and this setup is integrated into the car to fully replace it.
Would appreciate you updating this Thread to let us know how it goes. Mr. Sam

There is a way to make it work with the stock pcm and use the stock dash. There is a shop that has done it. I don't want to take the credit. I called them and they pointed me in the right direction. That dash just came out so I am going to go with it just because of time and I am ready to drive this damn car. I will keep you up to date. I am laying the harness out and moving the battery to the rear. Another cool feature is I can run the Davis box with the dominator. I will set it up so that it will pull timing if my tires start to spin. Then put it back in when I hook back up.

This gonna be a street car also?
Hope you know what you're doing, best just to pull pins from pcm and get motor running with new harness/ecu.
You can piggyback or add new sensors to monitor oil. water, etc with the new harness/ecu.
That way you can retain all your stock dash gauges also
