Default header question

Im have 98 c5 and bought a set of long tube headers that are for a 2001 and up c5 can I just change the egr pipe from a 98 to a 2001 an up corvette and make them work im not sure if that's the only issue but that what I was told please advise

Also make sure there is a provision for the older style dipstick tube attachment. Most have it but not sure on your particular headers. As for the AIR tube attachment, you can remove the entire AIR system and have someone weld up the headers and remove the AIR pipe that goes into each header. That's what I did on mine. Really cleans up the under hood quite a bit.
