Default torque tube splined shaft bent. Need help.

I dropped my transmission today to find a vibration in my drive line. I noticed that the splined shaft that goes into the clutch is bent. Can someone point me in the right direction of where I can find a replacement for the bent shaft. I've looked and looked and can't find one and I'm not exactly sure what its called.

Your profile isn't filled out and you didn't tell us what year your car is, no one can give you the correct answer. I suggest you reach out to vettenuts. He's a member and I think a vendor here. He has a good rep for used parts.
I believe it was 2001 when the driveshafts were upgraded to a sturdier/larger components. You might just want to upgrade the entire torque tube.

Sorry, it is a 2003 base six speed. I'm just having trouble finding the shafts on the ends of the tourque tube.

GM nomenclature: "Propeller shaft splined shaft".

Item # 11:

Might be pricey new from a dealer. I would try to find used. Check with Vettenuts @ 1-615-896-6100 just in case Marc has some separate parts available from a broken or otherwise damaged torque tube assembly.

If no luck, check with Rick at RKT56. www.rktperformance.com is his website address. His business name is Performance Built Drivetrains.

Vettenuts, they are just up the road from me and this is the first time I've heard of them. I'll give a call tomorrow. Thanks

I just talked to marc @ vettenuts and he said i'm going to probably just have to find another whole torque tube assembly and he doesn't have any at the moment. Again, thanks for the help.

This is another forum vendor....https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...autoparts.html .

I bought a six speed setup from them and was very happy with the parts, shipping, etc. they provided. Might want to check with them.

If the part you are looking at is number 11 on the parts diagram posted you can get the part for between 400 and $500 on line I got one for my 03 Z06 from Gene Culley. The part number is 88894028. You local dealer will want about $650 for it.
