You're going to have to make a ton of power and have a steep gear to need a 29" slick. I know Stock Eliminator guys run 30" x 9" but most of those no longer run the IRS and have gone to a 12-bolt.

We run a 28" Hoosier DR which is actually just short of 28". Had to remove the inner fender but it's fine. A 29" may fit but when the car squats to leave you might have issues.

K. Will the car squat to hard with the29" and if so what do you have to do to make this work. I have the rk extended fenders on my car now. And I'm about to take the inner fender liner out. So what would be my next step to make this 29" work

What makes you think you need a 29" tall tire?

But to answer your question, yes, Paul Smith put them on his P98 C5 race car. He had to modify the fender to get them to fit. I think perhaps Jay (40Rush) used them for a while too.

Unless you're making some big numbers, you shouldn't need a 29" tire.

I cut away 1" of the rocker panel & enlarged the wheel well to match.

Here's a pic with 30" Drag Radials, I wouldn't advise running that big/ heavy tire, unless you have a really strong drivetrain.

I'm back to running 28" tires

Actually I found a pic, looks like the fender had to be enlarged front & back.
