Has anyone bought a obx cat back system recently and it so have they fixed the fitment issues. all the threads i have found are from 2010 and 2011 nothing recent. are they still the best value out there or are there better options for under 550 shipped

They are still a cheap system so if your expectations match the price you paid then you'll be OK. You should be able to get the setup for $450 if you're in the US. There are enough joints in the system that you should be able to get the tips aligned as long as the 2 tips on each pipe are not crooked to each other.

Find a used Ti system off a Z06 and avoid the hassles with a cheap cat back.

Bought one 6 months ago. You'll need to buy new clamps. The one that come with the kit are useless. A lot of joints so yay you can get the tips to almost look aligned but mine were always crooked. Drone is bad too.
