Power Door lock doesn't always work?
I have a 2002 and the drivers side power door lock sometimes takes 2-4 times of hitting the lock button or key fob to get it to lock.
Unlocking is no problem.
What could be causing this issue?
Thanks for your input in advance.

its not bad if you or someone you know "solders"
I soldered 3 or 4 myself.
Digikey sells the relays for a buck or two each. Get the next higher Amp rating. I think I got 15 amp (OEM was 10?).
The tough part for me was the "de-soldering". I found that desolder braided copper tape worked best, but if you know someone with a desoldering station, its an easy job.
As a test prior to soldering I was able to remove the control module PCB from the other door and switch them. In my case, only the module on my Passenger door had bad (burn't contacts?) relays.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
I'd say any solution short of $300 new modules is good.
