Do not buy an engineered cooling products radiator
I want to provide my hands on experience with two engineered cooling products radiators (aka speedcooling.com or engineered-products on ebay). Whatever you do please do not buy from them unless you want to waste your money for a leaking radiator.
I bought one last year to replace my stock radiator that started leaking. It started leaking in about two months. Since it has a warranty I called them and they told me that I had to pay for shipping back to them and wait for them to process it before sending a replacement. This was a big problem because my Corvette was my daily driver at the time. They gave me the only other option of paying for another and hope to get a refund when I send the original back. I decided to deal with the leak until it got too bad and had to bite the bullet. Now that the replacement has been installed I got to test it out. It has such bad welds that there are pinholes in them that leak. So I have a brand new leaking radiator again. What a joke.
So here's the sum of all the money I wasted and will still have to buy a replacement AC Delco which is actually cheaper. $275.31 for the radiator with shipping + $64 for 4 gallons of dex-cool throughout + $40 for shipping back to them + time to replace two radiators = $379.31 and I still don't have a functioning radiator.

if the only problem is the tiny hole(s) due to bad welds it might be easier and cheaper to take it to a welder and have them patch it up then you can be back on the road sooner and not have to deal with that company again... Ive dealt with my fair share of bad companies and in some situations it's just easier to fix the problem yourself and move on

Here is the latest update. As it is a "brand new" radiator I didn't feel like it was my responsibility to get it welded. I worked it out with them to get them to cover the return shipping this time and send me another radiator. The one they sent this time looks decent so far. It almost seems like my warrantee "replacement" was actually a returned product (came with bent fins, bad welds, and different box from the original product). I will keep this up to date if/when it starts leaking again.
To sum this up, if you buy an Engineered Cooling Products you are taking a gamble. You might get one that leaks, you might get one that will leak, or can get lucky and possibly get one that doesn't leak yet.

did you ever get this issue resolved. I know this is an old thread, but if you have had that radiator for 5 years now (or had to replace it again), it seems you should be able to provide a quality review of the product now.
Thanks

how long have you had it? did you ever go out for track days(drag strip or road course)?
did it perform better than the stock radiator?
Seems as though your vette is now a DD or was a DD at some point, how did it hold up to stop and go traffic?
