The best I can describe it was it sounded like rain hitting the windshield when the car was WOT in 4th at high speed. There was no rain. Car is a 2003 z06 with 33k miles. Sounded like i hit a patch of rain when car got above 130. Chassis flexing and twisting the windshield? Sounded like it was coming from the windshield. Anyone had any similar experiences? Car wasnt vibrating any more than i would expect, pretty minimal.

Might be air getting under the trim piece and "pulling" on it?

It's the wipers moving/vibrating. Not the whole unit, but small sections or parts where the rubber meets the window. A hypothesis of mine, based on the below info:
When Chevy went to the raised hoods on the trucks in 06, they would do the same thing if they had a bug shield. Something about how the wind was breaking over it was making it happen. Almost sounds like you're hitting big bugs, or rain, like you said.
I guess a good way to test it would be pull the wipers

Thanks for the replies guys. When I get a chance I am going to pull the wipers and try to replicate the sound. When I try and pinpoint where the sound was coming from in my mind I feel it was very close to where the wipers sit. Thanks again guys.
