Front spring how to...
Does anyone have a how to remove and replace the front leaf? My car was lowered when i bought it and the P.O. cut the bushings off the front bolts. I went to adjust them and the driver side bolt was broken and just sitting in the hole a little. So I bought a stock spring with uncut bushings in the parts sale section and I am going to do the swap myself if I can...
Thanks in advance...Jim

Read post 10 in the linked thread. Let me know if something doesn't make sense.
There is a guide with pretty pictures but it has you taking apart most of the front suspension and then once you have it all apart you might still find it difficult to get the spring out.

You are going to need the car corner weighted and aligned after your install. You could guess on the lowering bolt adjustments and have an alignment done, see post #92 here:

I didn't even see that post.
I've pulled the spring a couple of times and it worked good for me too. It takes a bit of wiggling but you can get the arm above the spring with the shock and sway bar attached. I always figured that after changing springs and moving the ride height an alignment is a good idea anyways. Heck, with these cars an alignment is a good idea if it's been a while even if you haven't adjusted the ride height.
