Default Climate control delay

Just took my 1997 out of storage and I noticed that my climate control (dual temp unit) had no power. Within 2 minutes it came on displaying the outside temp. Checked the fan and temp everything was working. Went to the store came out and the same thing happen except within 4 minutes powered off. Parked it in the garage waited 5 minutes and turned it on. No power to the unit but came on in about 100 seconds. Any thoughts/ideas solutions?
Thanks

Sounds like a poor connection, may be a connector pin that is loose. Could also be internal to the control unit.

Did you do any maintenance inside the car before putting in storage, anything in the previous year?

I can pull the schematics for you when I get back home.

Yep - ignition switch (the electrical part, not the key cylinder).

Mine had very similar symptoms that only got worse over a couple of years. Replaced the IS and never a problem since.
