Default Cost to convert manual to automatic tranx?

Hi,
I put so many custom mods to my C5's and really don't wanna sell it.
I know some of y'all have converted some manual to automatic tranx. How much am I looking at? If it is around $2500, I may go for it and keep the vette.
Thanks so much in advance!

Try double or triple that unless you are doing it yourself with used parts.
I went the other direction. I should have sold the car instead.

Answer: way more than the car is worth. Search for your dream car with the A4 and buy it and then have some happy mod time again! (might be better the second time...)

FWIW, it seems MT cars are worth more than AT cars. You'll likey be able to swap cars pretty easily.

A couple thousand bucks sounds realistic for the labor/tuning. The cost of parts depends if you just trade your stock parts with someone, or go with high end built parts like RPM. It's also not permanent so it can be switched back later. I had the swap done on my Z06 and love it.
