Seats: Spring removal ??
When I was at Bragg-Smith a couple of years ago as soon as I sat down in one of their C5's to get myself situated behind the wheel I noticed something was different...better.
Victor (the mechanic at Bragg-Smith) told me they take the springs out of the bottom of the seats. It allows you to sit lower, eliminates the bouncing and really helps hold you down into the seat.
Anyone know how to do this? I know I will probably have to take the seat out to do it. Any tips will be appreciated.
TIA

I removed the springs and at first it felt good but then after awhile I felt like I was sitting in a bucket. When I removed the seat to put the springs back in I decided to try something a little differnt.
I attached the springs to the frame and instead of streatching them to put them over the rod I used some heavy duty wire ties to connect the end of the spring to the rod.
This is the perfect setting for me ! It gives you a comfortable seat, but you sit lower in the car. As soon as I can figure out how to post pix again I'll put them up.
