How many miles on your vette before you started engine mods
For all those out there that did either a heads, cam, prochargers, nitrous, and any other mod how many miles was on your engine when you modded. Are there any out there that turbo charged a engine with say 80,000 miles on it without a rebuild ? How strong are these ls engines we will just call it corvette confessions. For give me father for I have sinned I have not done any of these mods so I can't help this thread lol

Purchased my C5 at 120k and it now has around 123k. It already had a Corsa catback and a cold air intake on it. I installed an ATI 10% under drive pulley and an elite engineering oil catch can so far. I've been working on suspension mods... Anywho... I'll be throwing a set of headers and a heads/cam setup with a fast manifold before too long.
My mentality: Use it until it busts! Then rebuild.
My C5 is not my daily driver.

If I had to DD the C5 I wouldn't have that mentality but I figure "have fun until it pops... rebuild... have more fun" Rinse and Repeat

It all depends on how it is cared for and how good the tune is on it. They are very strong motors though! And when it does go out... Rebuild it or swap it out!
