Default ls6 mild build head gasket question and mill heads?

I'm doing a cam swap and switching to mild ported 243 heads on my c5z wanted to know what brand head gasket and thickness should be use and it is worth to mill the heads for 11.1 compression?

cam specs
224/230 581/592 114 lsa

heads are mild ported (really just cleaned up) 243 with dual valve spring for up to .650 lift, heads are at the machine shop being checked out and was thinking about bumping compression to 11.1 worth it on a daily driver? any idea on Hp gain by a .5 bump?

thanks

GM MLS gaskets are what I use. I had mine milled .027, but I am also have a lot more aggressive setup.

Assuming your tune is good, 11:1 is good for these motors. I can only get 92 here, and there's no knock retard, and I even run a SC, with 8 lbs of boost.
