Thanks to all who replied for advice on my non locking 2001 door off fob and door panel. A common problem and i found and used a company autoclockrepair.com. in Maryland. I sent in my door lock module and they replaced the relays with new version of relays and only cost $39.95 sent out monday had back on thursday (had additional $40 1 day shipping fees there and back but not necessary) lifetime warranty and they also do c5 temp contol repairs. Gm dealer had new module price of $600. Hope this helps out anyone with same issue....

I need to do my passenger side lock relay. Did they include the relay at that price or did you send it to them?

You send the your whole door lock module (its inside a plastic enclosure about 5"x7") they remove all the relays inside and replace them with improved style and bench test unit. worked like a charm!
My brother has the same car 01 conv with non locking passenger door and dealer changed door lock actuator (which wasnt the problem) Seems to be a common problem with age as my car only has 9k miles...Hope this helps!
