I am confused about the question. Are you asking about belts or the actual pulleys and tensioner on the motor?

everything...lol...first question was about the pulleys and tensioners then I asked about the belts ...now, can you answer either or both? With 200,000 + members you would have thought I could get more opinions...I give up......

Last I knew, the GM belts were made by Gates so the quality should be right there with OEM. As for the pulleys, I would want to go "light" if I were changing them to get some inertia out of the system, albeit a small amount.

Thanks for the response...what does "light" mean? you mean not steel pullies? composit/plastic pulleys as gm uses for the main tensioner pulley? not much difference in weight though...both kinds only weigh an ounce or so...lol
