Front end alignment complexity
I called my local shop that does my old cars and heard some puzzlement on the other end.
Anything out of the ordinary about a C5 front end alignment?

Its a second generation alignment shop that does everything including my 65 GTO and Mustang II front street rod and most vintage cars in Flint MI.
My second choice would be a dealer and amazingly all the Chevy dealers in the area have 1-2 vette allocation levels.

Any good tire store like Goodyear is set up to do the C5 and should be able to print out before and after alignment settings.
I do my own alignment on my toys including all 4 wheels on two of them. When I needed to do my wife's Lexus I just had Goodyear do it since I was just lazy. I spoke to the Tech before hand and was confident and was pleased with the results but not the $75 or so it cost. But that was my decision.

c5 alignment is very simple and easy to do provided nothing is bent/broken... on the front you have 2 eccentric bolts on each of the lcas to adjust caster/camber and the tie rod ends to adjust toe... on the rear you have an eccentric bolt on each lca for camber and the tie rod end for toe

Nothing complex about it. As said there are eccentrics located on the lower control arms front and rear. Been doing alignments for 15 years.

Actually a c5 alignment is everything.
If you want a by the book alignment, it isn't too hard, though it does require that they understand how to set caster as its not setable in many cars and has a spec for the c5.
If you want a track alignment its a big pain to find a place that will screw around with washers/shims and get everything maxed out.

Aligning a C-5 Corvette isn't hard. Finding a tech who's willing to take an extra 15-20 minutes, to get it "on the numbers" is a little more difficult....
